Zino, often found behind a camera shaping worlds through visual imagery, doesn’t just create universes through his lens, but through music as well. His journey with music began just a few years ago as a self taught producer, crafting a sound unique to him. Heavily inspired by the early days of tech house, combining old school style with new school techniques, his deep yet punchy productions hold a quirky style. With a handful of fresh ideas for his productions in the pipeline, Zino is a well rounded multidisciplinary artist who has no plans on slowing down. Behind the decks, he blends sounds that feel familiar to him-- a balance of sexy percussions and basslines that get the neighbours moving. His collection hits the sweet spot between tech house and deeper oddities, containing hints of funk and jazz to keep things fresh. His sets, like a good cocktail, are the perfect balance between ingredients, knowing how much of this and that to blend into the mix with each time perfecting his craft. As an undeniable part of the Slap-Fam, a lot of his inspiration comes from the countless hours spent with his tribe on and off the dancefloor and sharing moments with people and artists he always looked up to. Slapfunk isn’t the only tribe he’s from, running deeper in the underground scene of Amsterdam, Zino, together with his close friends, run Bella Tazza. What started out as a small collective run by friends in Amsterdam, Bella Tazza has steadily established its ground in the Amsterdam scene, respected both locally and internationally by likeminded music geeks. Zino, having dove deep into his passions at an early age, his experience is undeniable. However, as a relatively young artist, for him there is always more ground to cover.
