Hannecart, originally from the Dominican Republic, has her roots deeply connected to music. Having spent her early years absorbing and developing a strong love for it through her family's extensive and wide-ranging collection of vinyl and CDs, she brings more than just the right energy to every dance-floor as emotion and soul are intertwined in her selections as well. The VBX resident has been landing coveted spots around Amsterdam, at revered parties like MARICAS, Love On The Rocks, Spielraum, Disturbia and Slapfunk. Although a relatively new name to the Amsterdam scene, Hannecart has taken every chance as a new challenge– to deliver. Known for never restricting herself to one single genre, her sound covers all the corners of what she considers to be the right fit for every moment, a sweet spot between house and techno. Her collection breathes sounds from the last three decades, allowing her sets to be a beautiful constellation of sounds that immerse dancers enough to make them lose track of time, constructed around grooved-out percussion and sonic elements that carry the depth and emotion of her selections. Her constant search for new sounds that continue to shape her identity has made her an artist who easily stands out, bringing fresh taste to the table.
